Ebony Will Rule for the Beach and the Pool
Black is always chic, but it’s especially unique when the temperatures peak.
I’m getting ready for poolside glam with a few choice pieces from Nordstrom and Agent Provocateur.
Hey Now, Hey Now Now
Every time I hit the Agent Provocateur boutique in San Francisco, on Geary between Kearny and Grant, I am flooded with hospitality, honest changing-room feedback and of course some of my favorite old tunes as the accommodating AP staff play The Sisters of Mercy while I try on their sizzling sexies.
Right now I’m pining over their Tahloola slashed cover-up, $590. It seems these days that the amount of material is in direct inverse proportion to the price tag. This is another case where less costs more, but who cares when you’re strolling the beach or lying poolside in something Blondie would have used to cover her own Heart of Glass?
Getting shredded has never been more convenient, because you can order Tahloola off the AP website and have it delivered right to your door.
Underneath it all there’s a myriad of suits to choose from, but my fave is Tory Burch’s Medallion Maillot Swimsuit, $225, from Nordstrom.
Looking Grecian Goddess from head to toe, all you need is a pedi in fashion’s coral color-of-the-moment, your black OG shades and Rebecca Minkoff’s Straw Diamond Tote and you’ll be set for the beach or the pool. Hope to see you there.
